- Develops constitutional remedies and constitutional review mechanisms as a professional skill within judicial and administrative contexts, applying constitutional instruments established in the legal system with sound normative, doctrinal, and procedural expertise in order to achieve the effective protection of fundamental rights and strengthen the constitutional rule of law, while demonstrating professional ethics, commitment to justice, respect for due process, responsibility, and sensitivity toward the protection of human rights.
- Leads abstract constitutional review proceedings as a specialized analytical skill within the context of constitutional adjudication, through technical analysis and the management of procedures aimed at assessing the constitutional conformity of legal provisions, with the purpose of ensuring constitutional supremacy and the coherence of the legal system, while acting with legal rigor, objectivity, independent judgment, institutional responsibility, and respect for the principle of constitutionality.
- Evaluates the application of constitutional principles and rights in the actions of state bodies, organizations, and private individuals, demonstrating the ability to analyze legal norms, acts, and decisions within the contexts in which these actors operate. As an expected outcome, issues well-founded legal opinions that contribute to strengthening the constitutional state of rights and justice, while acting with professional ethics, social responsibility, respect for human dignity, critical independence, and commitment to constitutional supremacy.
- Applies jurisprudential doctrine derived from the Constitutional Court of Ecuador and the Inter-American Human Rights System as an advanced skill in judicial, administrative, and academic contexts, aimed at resolving complex legal cases and developing innovative legal solutions, thereby strengthening the protection of rights and interpretative consistency under the paradigm of neo-constitutionalism, while demonstrating critical thinking, integrity, commitment to human rights, openness to change, and professional responsibility.
